Visual artist Heesun Shin, her multidisciplinary practice spans sculpture, installation and drawing, which enliven viewers by questioning our perceptions of value on everyday life and their defined meanings. Shin reflects her own personal story and is very much rooted in modern-day conversations about memory, perception and the interior life. Shin holds both a BFA in painting and an MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she currently lives and works.
